A project for access control
We have been collaborating with the prestigious industrial group of Alba for several years.
After having supplied the totems for the internal communication network in previous years, we have recently tackled the problem of vehicle access control inside the production areas.
An integrated system of kiosks
The first version of the Axess product customised by Ferrero was installed in 2019 at the Villers Ecalles production facilities in France. The system consists in multiple installations. Two control towers at the entrance and exit of the plant. Two self-check-in kiosks where the drivers have to authenticate themselves and receive through a printout the directives to enter the plant.
And a large screen with high brightness in the parking area, that indicates to the drivers their turn to approach the control towers that will check their documents and through a barcode will validate the entry into the plants. The integrated system was built to the customer’s specific functional and dimensional requirements, and it is naturally adaptable to countless alternative solutions.
Collaboration goes beyond
Subsequently, a customised version was supplied for the Pozzuolo Martesana plant near Milan. In this case, the requirements were different from a functional and dimensional point of view and customised products were created both for the regulation of the flow of incoming and outgoing vehicles and for the self-check-in of drivers.
